Ordering Process

How does it work?
  1. Choose your product – Browse our collection and select the options that suit you best.
  2. Customize – Upload your logo, adjust sizing within the decoration area, and preview your mock-up.
  3. Select quantity – Each product has a minimum order quantity (mixing flavours for the product is okay).
  4. Submit for review – Once you're happy with your selections, submit your order for review. Our team will check everything and send you a final approval.
  5. Payment – After approval, you'll be notified and can complete your payment. Payment is required before production begins.
  6. Production begins – After payment is received and final artwork is approved, your order goes into production. Most items ship within 5–10 business days.
How do I know my order has been received?

You’ll see an order confirmation screen and receive a follow-up email. If you don’t, please contact us at info@marymacleod.com or 416-461-4576.

Can I reorder the same product as last time?

Yes. Simply log into your account, visit your account dashboard, click your order history, and click “Reorder.”

What if I need something by a specific date?

Contact us before ordering so we can confirm feasibility and offer alternatives if needed. Rush production or expedited shipping may apply — we’ll always be upfront about what’s possible.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

Because everything is made to order, changes can only be made before your order enters production. You’ll receive a final proof for approval — that’s the moment to request edits.

What if I need fewer than the minimum quantity?

Minimums are based on production requirements, but sometimes a lower quantity can be arranged with an additional fee. Just ask and we’ll look into options.

Do you have a minimum order value?

Yes, we have a minimum order value of $500. This helps us maintain efficient processing and offer the best possible service to our customers.

Artwork & Customization

What types of customization do you offer?

We offer a variety of tasteful customization options to make your shortbread gift truly your own:

  • Cookie Jars: Etched or screened logo, logo sticker
  • Clear Rounds: Logo sticker
  • Boxes: Logo sticker, custom printed box, hang tags
  • Tins: Logo sticker, custom screened tins, hang tags, sleeves

If you have any special requests or need help choosing the perfect customization, just get in touch — we’d love to help!

What file types should I upload?

We accept .EPS, .JPG, .PNG, and .PDF files. If you have something else, feel free to email us — we’ll find a way to make it work.

Do you keep my artwork on file?

Yes. Your artwork stays on file so you can reorder effortlessly at any time.

Can I specify a Pantone (PMS) colour for my print?

Absolutely. You can provide your Pantone colours when uploading your artwork. If you leave that section blank, we’ll match as closely as possible. Keep in mind: for some items, exact PMS matching isn’t available due to print method limitations — details are noted on each product page.

Do you offer design assistance if I need help with my artwork?

Yes. Our team can help adjust sizing, check resolution, and ensure your design looks polished before production.

Is there a proof approval process?

Yes. You’ll receive a final digital proof to review and approve before your order moves into production. This is your opportunity to confirm colours, placement, and spelling.

For physical proof approvals, please let us know at the time of ordering by including a note in your order form or emailing us directly. Physical proofs are available for select products and may add extra production time and cost. Once requested, we’ll confirm availability and provide any applicable pricing or timelines before moving forward.

Can I choose which flavours I get?

Yes! You can select from our available flavours when placing your order. Minimum quantities may apply. Just ask — we’re happy to help.

Can I add a personalized message to each gift?

Absolutely. Every order comes with complimentary Mary Macleod’s notecards — included at no extra charge. Simply add your message and upload your logo, and we’ll handle the rest.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship?

We ship across Canada and the U.S. For international deliveries, please contact us — we’ll confirm feasibility and provide a custom quote.

How will my order ship?

Most orders ship via FedEx or by courier. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your shipment leaves our facility. For larger orders, we can arrange freight or multi-location shipping.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Yes. We specialize in multi-address fulfillment (ideal for client and employee gifting). You can upload your recipient list during checkout or email it to us.

Will I be notified when my order ships?

Of course. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details.

What if there’s an issue with my order?

We take great care in every batch we bake and every box we send — but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please reach out within 5 business days of receiving your order, and we’ll make it right!

Product Details

Are your shortbread products nut-free?

We use coconut and almond flour in our Gluten-Free shortbread recipes. Although we do not include nuts in every recipe, there is a possibility that any of our products could contain trace amounts of nut oils. We ask that individuals with nut allergies refrain from eating our products.

How long will the shortbread stay fresh?

It depends on the packaging:

  • Clear packages: Shelf life is 3–5 months when stored in a cool, dry place.
  • Opaque packages (tins, jars, gift boxes, and sealed boxes): Shelf life is 6–10 months under the same conditions.
Can I get a of the product I’m interested in?

Yes! You can request one per finished product, as well as s of our individually wrapped cookies.

You can request up to 24 cookies total, with a maximum of 6 per flavour. If you need more than that, just get in touch — we’re happy to discuss your needs.

Can I get a pre-production of my custom order?

Yes — Pre-production s can be arranged. Please note: this may extends production timelines and may incur an additional fee.

Are your packages recyclable?

Yes. Most of our packaging is fully recyclable or reusable.

Do you support charitable programs?

We do. Through our Cookie Compassion initiatives, a portion of proceeds from select collections is directed to community food programs. If you’d like to align your order with a cause, let us know.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. For larger programs or ongoing campaigns, we’ll be happy to prepare custom pricing. Contact us for a quote.
